Highest new movie of the week is Embrace Again which comes in at 2 while one place below is G Storm which also enters the box office this week.

The movie goes into 2022 with a total gross of $1.3 Billion, it was the top grossing movie of 2021 and is the current top movie of 2022 and is the 12 top movie of all time having just taken Black Panther.

There a 3 new movie on the global box office this weekend from China, the highest of which is the highest debuting movie.

Director Xiaolu Xue's film lands at number 3 this weekend with a gross of $83.9 Million from 3 countries.

G Storm

The second is the fifth and final movie in director David Lam's series of movies, a $55.5 Million debut from 6 countries gives it a number 3 debut.

Sing 2

The animated sequel falls to number 4 this weekend with a take of $36.8 Million from 49 countries, a very slim 14% drop over last weekend.

The film now has a global gross of $144 Million after 2 weeks of release.

Another Me

Final new movie of the weekend is at number 5, director Gao Ke's movie is only released in China and makes its debut with $27.6 Million.
